High School Registration and Application Processes for the 2021/2022 School Year
Information Webinar: January 20th (6:00-7:00pm)
 
Q&A Sessions: January 23rd from 8:00-9:30am, January 26th from 6:00-7:30pm, or February 2nd from 6:00-7:30pm.
 
Who needs to participate in the lottery?
ALL new students need to participate in the lottery. Even if you live within the Helix attendance boundary, have a sibling already attending Helix, and/or have a parent that works at Helix, you must still participate in the lottery.
 
Lottery Results: Email notification of lottery results will be sent to all lottery participants on Friday, March 12th.
 
School Choice is a program that allows families to request a school in the Grossmont Union School District other than the student's school of residence.
 
When: Requests must be submitted during the "School Choice Window." For the 2021/2022 school year is is 12/1/2020 through 3/5/2021, 4 PM. 
 
The lottery for e3 Civic High will take place on January 19, 2021. Any family who is interested in e3 Civic High should complete an admissions application - this step will be done via their enrollment system, SchoolMint. Families will need to create an account and provide some basic student and family information. It's simple - the entire process takes less than five minutes! This will ensure that any interested student is included in our upcoming lottery, it's not a commitment of enrollment, but it saves their spot if they decide to move forward. 
e3 also hosts Weekly Virtual Information Sessions every Thursday at 3:30pm.
Application Deadline: February 5, 2021.
