High School Registration and Application Processes for the 2022/2023 School Year
School Choice is a program that allows families to request a school in the Grossmont Union School District other than the student's school of residence.
This window closes on February 28 at 4:00pm.
Helix uses a Lottery system for their enrollment. The button above will take you to Helix's web page containing boundary information and lottery priorities. Lottery applications must be submitted by March 4th, 2022.
Who needs to participate in the lottery?
ALL new students need to participate in the lottery. Even if you live within the Helix attendance boundary, have a sibling already attending Helix, and/or have a parent that works at Helix, you must still participate in the lottery.
Lottery Results: Email notification of lottery results will be sent to all lottery participants in March.

Steele Canyon's Intent to Enroll window is now open. You may access the enrollment application by clicking on the button above.
The lottery will be conducted on Friday, February 25th.
Virtual Parent Orientations will be held during the following dates and times:
February 23, 2022 from 5-6:30pm
February 24, 2022 from 5-6:30pm
March 1, 2022 from 5-6:30pm
March 2 from 5-6:30pm
March 3 from 5-6:30pm
High Tech High has opened their enrollment application for the 2022/2023 school year.
Online applications will need to be completed between October 1, 2021 and March 1, 2022 in order to be entered into the lottery.
The results of the lottery will be announced in early April.
Any family who is interested in e3 Civic High should complete an admissions application - this step will be done via their enrollment system, SchoolMint. Families will need to create an account and provide some basic student and family information. It's simple - the entire process takes less than five minutes! This will ensure that any interested student is included in our upcoming lottery, it's not a commitment of enrollment, but it saves their spot if they decide to move forward.
