We invite fathers, Stepped-up fathers, grandfathers, and father figures to build, bond, and develop brotherhood.

Watch party for read aloud by Lupita Nyong’o on Netflix series “Bookmark”.
After watching the episode, guided questions will be provided to engage parents/guardians and kids in conversation about themes in the book. The first 10 parents to RSVP and attend will get a copy of the book.

The Hate U Give: How to Talk About Race at Home

*This event is designed for 6th-8th graders and their parents due to the mature content of the film and conversation*
We will watch a scene from the movie then we'll engage in a guided discussion about race and identity. Families are encouraged to attend together.

President's Day

The Lemon Grove School District Office and schools will be closed February 15, 2021 in observance of Presidents Day. School resumes, February 16th.
